Bunk Beds

We finally got the bunk beds up and ready.  The girls loved them and played in them and now where is Emilee sleeping tonight.  On the floor in her old room.  I hope she adjusts at some point.  I thought for sure the Dora comforter would win her over, I don't understand.  Well I guess Cameron won't need to be in there for a couple months anyways.

Painting and Plating

Matt painted Cameron's room.  I love it!

BEFORE and AFTER - Becca wanted curls for school pictures.  I'm sure they died down a little before they took the pictures at school.

Thanks to food network we have a whole new vocabulary and really good food.  Unfortunately the kids usually don't appreciate Dad's culinary experiments.  This was very large chili rellenos made from fresh Hatch chilis.  They were great!  I say Matt gets a 10 for "plating" which I teased him for.  This is for you Leanne.
Em riding the bike.  She still refuses to use the petals but gets going pretty fast Flinstone style.

A big tall boy

So we went to the Dr. office this morning.  She said she thought the baby wouldn't be big from my measurements and then we did a sonogram.  The result was an estimated 7lbs 3oz  and I am only 36 weeks.  This is not an estimate of how much he will weigh when he is born but how much he weighs right now.  So we will not be going the full 40 weeks for sure.  She also commented on his long legs, Matt was excited about that for his dreams of watching his son play basketball.  Yeah for big healthy boys I guess.

Some pictures finally

Becca's first day of school!  She was so excited.  She loves school and her teacher and all her friends.
Emilee's first day of dance class!  Isn't she adorable.  She wanted to go from the moment she woke up in the morning.  She wants to be big like Becca and go to "class"
We made camo burp cloths and KU onesies while dad was away last weekend.  Jess said you can't go wrong with Camo and of course Dad likes anything with a Jayhawk on it.  We won't be able to see the spit up stains now.  It was a fun project to keep us busy.
