It's a BOY!

So I'm thinking what am I going to do with all the pink blankets and butterfly sheets?  We are excited.  It's going to change things around our house.  I was going to put pictures but we all know what ultrasound pictures look like and these are the same.  Matt could tell right away that he was a boy before she told us.  I thought I could tell but it's hard with ultrasounds to know what you're looking at.  He is healthy and growing well.

Happy Easter

Here are some easter pictures.  How fun!  Em didn't know what to do when she saw the easter eggs, she just looked at them.  It took awhile for her to start picking them up.  She does love the candy!  They are both sporting their new shades from the Easter Bunny and they even wore them on the ride to church.  Em's made them into the church even and Daddy was all embarrassed.  Watch for tomorrow's post on if the baby is going to be a boy or girl!  Momma's Easter present was being released from Nursery, yeah!  Not that nursery is bad but 2+ years is enough.

Disneyland

I have been meaning to post about our trip to Disneyland but haven't found the time.  Still recovering from the trip I guess.  I had to put a few pics at least for now.  Becca loved seeing the princesses and her favorite ride was space mountain which we were all surprised she rode let alone liked.  Daddy is happy to have a roller coaster partner.  Emilee quickly learned that "we have to wait our turn" and reminded us all several times as we waited in lines.  She was happy to play with the chains and was drawn to anywhere that had dirt ( maybe because the dirt was brown and soft unlike the kind she is used to).  She also loved Cinderella, I almost cried watching her little face when she first saw her.  That made the 1 hour wait worth it!  Of course they picked out pink mouse ears and pink shirts to which Dad remarked "Yuck, why does everything at our house have to be pink!"  So we're calling the little unborn one Cameron now and even Em has switched over to it being a boy - not that we even know.  I got tired of it not having a name so I just decided that it's a boy for now - of course Cameron could go either way I suppose.  I get to make the ultrasound appt tomorrow for sometime in April.

A quick post

I haven't posted forever so I thought I would at least put a picture and a few words.  I felt like I was starting to get a handle on things just before Christmas, then December happened with Christmas and traveling followed by sickness in January and now being pregnant I just don't have as much energy.  So much for that.  Oh well we are used to chaos and are excited to get our definitely, meant to be addition to our family here.  Luckily Becca is practicing horsey rides because I don't know how much longer I'll be able to them.

In bed by 9:00

Wow the kids are in bed by 9:00 and I don't feel exhausted yet.  I don't know what to do with myself.  Well I better update the blog with something quick.  Oh so much for that here comes Emilee waltzing out of her room.  What fun.

Getting Back Into the Swing of Things

So I think we are getting back into our routine.  I didn't wake up to an alarm clock for over two weeks so it's been hard to get back into.  I have just been incorporating it into my dreams.  Yeah for the weekend again.  Becca got her own alarm clock tonight and is so excited.  She says she wants up early and get ready by herself before I even get up.  That would be nice but we'll see, ever since we've had to get up before the sun I have been dragging her and dressing her and everything.  Not that she doesn't love school, she wasn't feeling well the other day and bawled when I told her she couldn't go to school.  Dad couldn't take it and ended up taking her later.  What a girl.

Christmas
Emilee on Christmas Eve after the long drive
Both girls on Christmas Eve

Cute minnie hat!
Becca likes snow.
We had tons of fun visiting everyone for Christmas.   Becca had a breakdown about going home and leaving all her cousins and the 4-wheeler.  Emilee on the other hand has been asking to go home for a few days so was glad to get on her way.  She was an angel all the way home and all smiles for the whole 12+ hours.  They were both exceptionally good and we're all happy to be home.
